Jack-o-Lantern Stamp Making
Wednesday 10/14, 6:30-8pm, $45/student
Put a new spin on pumpkin carving in this jack-o-lantern stamp making class. Students will receive a blank pumpkin-shaped rubber stamp to carve with face and details of their choosing. Use your unique stamp and provided ink pad at home to make cards, Halloween decorations, and more! This fun and easy 90 minute class offers a low-stress way to learn printmaking basics. Craft-along with friends, relax, and get into the spooky season spirit! Materials, snacks, and apple cider provided—beginner friendly.
Halloween Linocut Printmaking
Wednesday 10/28, 6-9pm, $65/student
Learn linocut block printmaking and create your own Halloween-themed prints! In this edition of Printmaking 101 we’ll take inspiration from all things spooky, with a special nod to the kitschy vintage Halloween aesthetics of the 50s & 60s. Think grinning black cats and plastic blow mold pumpkins, We will walk through the process of creating a design, carving it out, and printing by hand. Students will leave with a set of unique 5x7” prints. All levels welcome, Materials included.
